• Introduce yourself (are you an educator, what is your name, where do you work and reside?)

• Ask legislators to vote no concurrence in the House on HB 173

• Share with them that you no longer support HB 173 because of detrimental amendments from the Senate Education Committee that would:

  • Eliminate streams of revenue for education​

  • Increase class sizes

  • Decrease starting educator salaries

• Share your personal experience of why doing any of these three things would hurt students. ​

• Remind them that you prioritize protecting education and as your elected representative they should too.
